About Heather

Heather has both a Bachelor of Commerce (Sports Admin.) from Laurentian University and Bachelor of Education (University of Toronto) degree. She has worked in the education system and is a Member of The Ontario College of Teachers, teaching accounting and marketing in both the public and private schools at the secondary level. Heather completed the ‘Certified Zentangle Teacher’ (CZT) course in April 2015 in Providence, Rhode Island. Heather is a Member of The Pine Ridge Arts Council. Heather attended the first ‘Cantangle’ (Canadian CZT Conference) in Regina in July 2015.

As well, Heather has worked in the business field in the personnel area for a large company as well as in sport marketing for a non-profit organization. Sport and art generally has been a part of her life, studying stained glass, mosaics, botanical art, watercolour, acrylics, wire sculpture and Zentangle. The art was a perfect way to escape from a busy life; challenge herself in a relaxed environment; enjoy art with her Mother and’ have fun.

About Jill

Jill has been drawing, painting and doing crafts for as long as she can remember. She’s studied under Henry Kuyvenhoven, Helen Lucas, Brian Smith and others. She was a docent at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa and is a Member of The Oshawa Art Association. She completed the ‘Certified Zentangle Teacher’ course in April 2015. Jill is a graduate of St. Clement’s School in Toronto; The Hospital for Sick Children (now Sick Kids) and The University of Toronto in Sociology. Jill grew up in Northern Ontario. She nursed in Parry Sound, Owen Sound, and lastly, Bowmanville. Jill is looking forward to this new chapter of sharing the relaxing style of Zentangle with you.
